Western Construction Services of Vancouver, Washington is seeking a seasoned and highly skilled project superintendent to join our team. The Project Superintendent Position:
Our Project Superintendents oversee the day-to-day construction operations and work to ensure a safe, on-time, on-budget experience. To direct all subcontractors, provide material management, work with our project managers and deliver a quality product to our varied clients.
A candidate to join our project superintendent team will have the following experience, traits and abilities:
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in construction supervision
- Ability to inspect construction site daily for cleanliness, safety and progress
- A dedication to detail and paperwork administration for each account
- Read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Experience with scheduling required, and be able to produce progress reports and punch lists
- Design and implement checklists for inspections, quality control, and client walk-throughs
- Can establish a teamwork atmosphere for each project and exemplify the Western Construction culture
- Understands scheduling software and has outstanding time management abilities
- Ability to manage sub-contractors, efficiently and with good communication skills
- A total commitment to job safety and contributes to an overall safety culture
- Dedicated to client satisfaction, quality control, and has pride in craft

- Restaurant Construction (visit)
- Ground-Up and Hospitality (visit)
- Tenant Improvement (visit)
- Healthcare construction and remodeling (visit)
- Industrial and Manufacturing facilities and plants (visit)
- Public Works Projects (visit)
Additional skill requirements include:
- Strong computer skills and abilities with the latest software platforms
- Communication skills are exemplary, including writing abilities
- Should be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
- Ensure safety is never compromised and do all pre-planning necessary
Education Requirements:
- Minimum High School Graduate
- Construction Trade School preferred
- Willing to continue education
