Elevator Modernization – PSU Millar Library

This project consisted of providing general contractor support to Centric Elevator for the modernization of nine elevators at Portland State University's Millar Library and Fourth Avenue Building. Western Construction managed and coordinated a wide range of supporting construction activities, including crane operations, scaffolding installation, abatement and demolition, steel roof deck modifications, roofing, sheet metal work, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Through careful planning and coordination, our team ensured that all supporting infrastructure and building improvements were completed safely and efficiently, enabling the successful modernization of those elevators while minimizing disruptions to the active university environment.
